My dad was a mail carrier for decades and I have a lot of fond memories. During the holidays, he would put in long hours to delivery cards and packages. Sometimes he’d come home with cards and treats from his customers. We’d get chocolates, cookies, coffee. You name it.
My dad has since retired, but I carry this nostalgia about it. So every year I create a Christmas card with a postal theme. This year (2022) I created one with a Gingerbread theme. If you look at my other holiday cards, it’s a Gingerbread world. I love creating scenes with gingerbread men, women and children. It’s so much fun.
