In 2021, I created this winter scene with a mail truck driving down a winding road. I usually like to make my illustrations colorful, but for this one I wanted a cute and cozy feel. This is part of my annual tradition of making a postal theme holiday card each year. My dad was a mail carrier for decades before retiring. The holidays was a busy time for him. He’d put in the long hours to deliver letters and packages. Sometimes he’d come home with cards and treats from customers. One time he brought home a tub of garlic butter. You know that spread that’s used on garlic bread? We got a huge container of it. I think it came from a restaurant he delivered to. Anyhow, memories of my dad inspires me to make these cards. I think whoever you give this to will enjoy it.
